In another line of acquisitions from The Foundry, they have today added the 2D illustration package "Mischief" to their repertoire of commercial software. This move while "only a 2D drawing app" seems to be not of much significance, looks to be yet another step to go head-to-head with Autodesk. Former SketchBook Pro guy Chris Cheung, who is now at The Foundry, is leading the initiative with Mischief, and with the aggressive (good for us) pricing of $25 USD, from the $129 it was a year ago, things should get pretty interesting from here on out.
Awesome move from the new owners of eyeon - you can now download the full license of Fusion 7 for FREE - which you can use for commercial and personal work. How does this compare to The Foundry's noncommercial Nuke license that you can only use after work hours? Doesn't even compare.. this is a good move for all of us!
