Users of V-Ray 1.5 for Rhino can download a free update from the Chaos Group Downloads page. The update features improvements and fixes that make V-Ray 1.5 for Rhino more stable and responsive. These include more stable DR, made RT more responsive to Rhino events, removed unnecessary refreshes, and introduced "lock viewport" option, fixed scene upgrade issues, improved scene loading time and UI improvements.

Bee: a 3D Animated Short

Check out "Bee", an animated short created by Vladimir Loginov, a Studio Aiko 3D artist based out of Ramat Gan. We posted Studio Aiko's showreel a few days ago, and there was this awesome bee clip there -- now you can see the full animation. Vladimir got the inspiration from the music of Boards of Canada. The animation was created using Autodesk 3ds Max, Chaos Group V-Ray and Adobe After Effects.
